Eddy's Cheeseburger

Ed is my official new product taste tester. He does a family brie night every weekend and is the inspiration behind our conserves. Recently he loaded up on mustard for burger night. He's been working on this recipe since he was 11 and he's definitely nailed it five years later. I got a pretty slamming burger out of the deal too. We should all have a neighbor like Eddy. 3pounds of extra lean ground beef 1 pound of ground bacon 1 tbl spoon of chilil powder 1/2 tbl spoon of salt 1/2 tbl spoon of pepper 3/4 teaspoon of garlic powder 1/3 of a cup of Two Crows roasted garlic mustard 3/4 of a cup of breadcrumbs 1 tbl spoon of minced garic 1/4 cup of diced onions 12 diced cheddar cheese cubes Serves 6-12 In a mixing bowl throw in everything besides the diced cheese and mix throughly for roughly 2-3 minutes to make sure everything ingredient is mixed in the protein throughly Next up, ball up your burger mix to your sized of choice (the larger the patty the better they hold up on your bbq) and before pressing to flatten your patty stick on of your slices of cheese in the middle. Now heat up your bbq to a medium high and grill the patties for 7-10 minutes a side (depending on the thickness of your patties) After flipping the patties twice during the final 5 minutes on the grill throw on two slices of cheddar on each patty to finish of your cheese burger.
