Roasted Garlic Mustard
We may have bought an unreasonable amount of garlic from West Coast Garlic this summer. It's hard to contain yourself when presented with so many beautiful varieties! When we had the smoker fired up it only made sense to throw in all the garlic.
We lightly smoked it, caramalized it at a low heat, then added it to the batch. This mustard is a tasty deterent for mosquitos and vampires alike!
Mustard seeds, vinegar, water, smoked garlic, sugar, salt.
Graines de moutarde, vinaigre, eau, ail fumé, sucre, sel.
Because we handcraft our mustard in small batches we are able to gather the best seasonal ingredients that Vancouver Island has to offer. But you have to move fast- this garlic is so popular it's hard to get and once this mustard is gone, it's gone until the bulbs appear next spring!
